‎2015 National Digital Arts Awards Winners Announced

Winners of the National Digital Arts Awards (NDAA) 2015 #DIGITALPINOYAKO was announced on Friday, January 15, 2016 at the Newport Performing Arts Theater, Resorts World Manila in Pasay City.

The National Digital Arts Awards or NDAA is an annual award advocacy organized by Globaltronics, Inc. giving recognition to young creative talents in the Print and Motion Graphic arts. NDAA seeks to recognize the nation’s top digital artists and create awareness for the young generation to encourage them to do digital art as a life-long game changer for them and their families.

Philip Alfred Nery a student from Malayan Colleges Laguna, won all the awards for the Motion Graphics Category and went home with Php 200,000. John Paulo Espeña from Polytechnic University of the Philippines (PUP) claimed the top spot for the Print Category, earning him Php 175,000. All winners were awarded with the coveted NDAA trophy designed by renowned trophy designers. NDAA awarded Php1 million in cash this year.

Senator Sonny Angara graced the event as keynote speaker of the night, and Kim Alexis Tinambacan, NDAA 2014 Student Motion Graphics Category winner gave his inspirational message to all the digital artists present.

Celebrity guest Alden Richards took center stage and performed in the midst of a cheering crowd. Dance numbers by the A-Team wowed the mostly youthful crowd. OPM bands Up Dharma Down, Kean Cipriano and Eunice Jorge, and Parokya ni Edgar rocked the after the awarding ceremony.

1st Place – John Paulo Espeña, Polytechnic University of the Philippines – Php175,000
2nd Place – Jean Napeñas, Technological University of the Philippines – Php 150,000
3rd Place – Gian Carlo Wong, Mapua Institute of Technology – Php100,000
People’s Choice Award – Jean Napeñas, Technological University of the Philippines

Motion Graphics Category

1st Place – Philip Alfred Nery, Malayan Colleges Laguna – Php200,000
2nd Place – Anton Victor Espelita, First Academy of Computer Arts – Php150,000
3rd Pace – Gian Paolo Garrido, Mapua Institute of Technology – Php125,000

People’s Choice Award – Gian Paolo Garrido, Mapua Institute of Technology
