Benjamin Marasigan Jr. is the current president of the Animation Council of the Philippines and has been teaching since 2001. Marasigan Jr. started in the Digital Art industry in 1992 as an animator. Since then, he did freelanced work for a number of famous cartoon series like "Lilo and Stich" and "The Emperor's New School".

He also headed the production of an animated biopic based on the life of St. John Baptist de La Salle.

Marasigan Jr. also attended numerous international events in countries like France and South Korea. This year, he participated in the Toronto Animation and Arts Festival and the Society for Animation Studies in Canada.
